One South Park

One South Park faces the leafy oval of San Francisco's oldest planned park — South Park, laid out in 1855 — from the corner of a circa-1920s tobacco trading warehouse. The 2007 conversion by LDP Architects is a late-cycle, high-finish project: 35 loft-style condominiums including nine two-story penthouses.

South Park itself is the story: ground zero for the 1990s dot-com boom (Wired magazine's first offices were here) and for the city's loft culture generally, it remains one of the most charming pockets of SoMa — a real neighborhood green ringed by cafés, studios and converted industrial stock.
